ReNaturalize Pilot Project Results on the Gualaxo do Norte River Published in International Journal
The results of the pilot restoration project on the Gualaxo do Norte River (MG) have been recently published in the international journal of the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry – Latin America (SETAC LA).
The project, entitled ReNaturalize, was carried out through a partnership between Fundação Renova and APLYSIA Environmental Solutions, aiming to accelerate the recovery from the impacts caused by the Fundão Dam collapse in Mariana (MG).
In just one year of implementation, the first results have already shown significant improvements in the river’s physical and ecological conditions.
